The Future of Asia
Saturday, March 21, 2009

The Bay Area Yale Clubs
San Francisco, CA

As China and India strive to position themselves as economic powerhouses and Asia plays an increasingly significant role on the world stage, what impact will this have on the U.S. and other countries? What is propelling Asia's growth, and more importantly, what may be undermining potential expansion?  Taking into account historical trends as well as the present economic climate, what can we expect for Asia's future?

On Saturday, March 21, a distinguished Yale panel - Nayan Chanda, Amy Chua, and Marian Chertow - will explore these questions and provide key insight into Asia's position as a global power.  Come join fellow alumni for what promises to be an enriching experience, an opportunity to immerse yourself in significant current issues and have in-depth discussions with prominent Yale lecturers.
